Hold That Thought While I Scream

A dynamic play with superb performances! Both actors got to show great range, and the play moved at a fast pace with plenty of twists and reveals to keep you on your toes the whole way through.... full review

Brendan Scannell: The Abyss

lani harms · June 25, 2026 certified reviewer
This is one of my top fringe shows this year. The writing is so tight, the jokes hit so hard, and Brendan’s delivery is flawless. And then it all culminates in a heart wrenching story and tone shift you don’t see coming, and yet feels inevitable after the incredibly well crafted storytelling that preceded it. Just an immaculate, touching, hilarious show.... full review

Midnight Cowboy Radio

Ally is a fully embodied ball of fire! This show is a rollercoaster from start to finish, and the slow reveal of the main character’s off-air life is brilliant and haunting.... full review

Bus People

This show has inspired me to take the bus!! Tamra is so effective at communicating her passion for public transit in the most unexpected & hilarious ways. I found this show to be equal parts entertaining and genuinely educational in the best possible ways. Her character works in specific, varied, and surprising, and filled with so much human love & empathy. I left feeling so endeared to her & LADOT!... full review

SOMETHING SPOOKY

lani harms · June 20, 2026 certified reviewer
I loooove this show! It’s SO spooky, and left me wondering why I don’t see more ghost storytelling shows. This show feels like someone telling you their scariest real ghost story, while a mirror breaks behind you. Jon’s passion for the macabre is palpable in this show, and all the scary (and hilarious) elements make this show highly entertaining. But what really shines is a tender, unlikely story about a family coming together. Highly recommend!... full review

Show Me Your Dick: A lifetime of dating in larger body

lani harms · June 20, 2026 certified reviewer
This show is phenomenal! Cara has a command of her story that instantly makes you feel at ease as you go on a difficult & emotional journey with her. She punctuates her painful memories with pictures of all the weird penises she’s received from random men on the internet, which feels cathartic to laugh at. This show prompted a very interesting conversation with my husband about why men send unsolicited dick pics, and I’m sure this show will spur many more important conversations. A fringe must se... full review

F*cking Famous

Molly Sharpe is a mad genius. This show is so completely unique and darkly hilarious. No one should sound good singing a cappella after chugging a Modelo, but that’s the magic of Molly Sharpe. Don’t miss this icon’s incredible show!... full review

The Vertical

lani harms · June 20, 2026 certified reviewer
This show was so fun! It addresses serious issues of racism & sexism in the vertical industry and how that’s seeping into Hollywood and setting our culture back in so many ways, but it tackles these subjects with humor and camp, which makes the messages hit that much harder. The cast is huge and yet the show feels intimate. Huge props to the writer/director/actor Dee for juggling it all with grace!... full review

Vote for Tom Ryan: One Last Time!

lani harms · June 20, 2026 certified reviewer
A super well written play with dynamic performers and unique concept! I loved Drew’s Except Myself at last year’s Hollywood Fringe, and I was so excited to see his show this year. It did not disappoint! Drew has such a talent for creating well rounded, complicated characters, and stories that move in unexpected ways, and this show is no exception!... full review

Please Don't Cry

lani harms · June 17, 2026 certified reviewer
This show is the epitome of vulnerability in the most beautiful way. I felt so privileged to witness Dionne’s telling of this deeply tragic story and was taken with her strength and humor through it all. This felt like such an honest portrayal of grief, and a great show about how funny the worst parts of our lives can be.... full review
