Kate Shaefer
Kate Shaefer is a SAG and Equity actress. She performed with The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis as well as appeared as a contestant in Jay Leno’s You Bet Your Life. She was a stand-in in Fox’s 911: Lone Star, the Hallmark movie Sugar Plum Twist and a body double in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
She has played Holly Gennaro in Theatre Unleashed’s A Very Die Hard Christmas twice (2022 and 2024).
Some of her training includes acting at the Art of Acting Studio with James Leo Ryan, improv at The Groundlings with Henry Watkins, voice with Sherry Shaoling, and dance at the Pasadena Dance Theatre.
Besides acting, she is a trained singer and can play guitar.
In her free time she runs with several run clubs and is playing Pokopia on the Nintendo Switch 2.
She lives in Pasadena with her husband and cat.
