CHIMPSKIN is a beautiful and haunting vision of a chimp learning what it is to be human and then cast back into nature. There is much beauty and sadness in this piece.... full review

'TIL SUNDAY is a magnificent insight into the dynamic of a family split by immigration and an intimate view into Cuban culture. We witness the impact of the US Castro relationship from a very human side as a mother waits each week "'Til Sunday" to catch up and understand the life she left behind and struggles to bring together once again.... full review

Andy: The Red-nosed Warhola

Performance art-gasm. To be thorough, the first impression started at the opening night party where Andy and his entourage walked the lines for fringe central in the glow of a camera light, stopping for picture strobes and reflection. This sort of bold and broad focus pull for publicity was so much in line of what I understand about Andy I was immediately hooked. The show had already started and i didn't even have a ticket yet. Brilliant. To add to the mystery, I would walk by the venue fro... full review

A Soldier's Play

A SOLDIER'S PLAY is a fantastic show that is well performed and staged. On the surface this is a mystery. The story plays out in the deep south in the era of WWII. Immediately we are thrown into murder investigation and the complications that arise from it's circumstance. The journey to discover the murderer is engaging and deals with racial themes and cultural divides.... full review

Orange Mango Cabaret

ORANGE MANGO CABARET is a delightful review of political aspects that comprise our current landscape. The moment you enter the space the stage is set with the tone by the caustic and charismatic master of ceremonies Friv O'Less (played expertly by Sierra Tatlor) who is able to bridge the gap between 6 episodes with a memorizing patter that acts as connective tissue. Think Rod Serling with a Harley Quinn edge. Each episode is a different style and the ensemble flows effortlessly in between. ... full review

Definition of Man

Definition of Man is a delight of moment and emotional exploration of the dynamics between genders. It is well acted, written and produced. Nikki and Jason were both emotionally accessible and naturalistic which woks wounders in an intimate space such as this. JJ has a solid grasp on the stage picture and has held together a reflective gem.... full review

Blackbird

Great show. Anna Stromberg has a steady grasp on the vision. She avoids commenting on the situation and puts trust in her actors and you to make your own conclusions. The set design is great. It places you in a break room of a nameless business complex in the middle of nowhere. The lighting is perfect. Florescent tubes sell the location but drop away to design moments that talk both characters out of the room and into new places. The sound is in harmony with all the elements and scene... full review
