I love the mind of Sarah Lazarus, and it was a privilege to be led through it Gay-Gen-Z-Internet-Meme-Culture-Wizard of Oz Style. Sarah takes a universal experience we've all had: wandering through our thoughts, and frames it through an experience that will greatly resonate with anyone deep in the trenches of strange tik-tok fads. The use of projection is particularly astounding and practical, with one part blowing my mind with how creatively it was used.
The writing was the perfect recipe of c...

This is horror camp at its finest. I could not get enough of Serena’s endearing performance of Chelise, a delightfully pathetic teen who just can’t catch a break. This one woman show is baudy, and pure camp!...

Oh my god. What can I say but oh my god. Elodie’s strange, unhinged, Mr. Rogers-like performance had me soothed as though I were watching a hilarious ASMR video; yet slightly disturbed for this poor girl as she takes us through some incredibly unhealthy coping mechanisms taught to her by her slightly menacing therapist. You’ll be laughing until you’re suddenly not as Elodie reveals uncomfortable truths in us all, and “twists the knife” so to speak....

And What of the Children is a gripping, twisted thriller I could not look away from. Its runtime of 90 Minutes barely feels long as I truly had no idea where this story was taking me and I had to know more....

Polite Conversations and Wine is anything but polite. The characters here are all fully realized, you can't help but sympathize with them as they say hurtful things to each other. Despite having such a sweet sounding title, this show is incredibly tense and kept me hooked throughout....

This was such an intense, heartfelt, funny clown show it nearly blew my socks off! The clowns here have great chemistry, and have imaginative story telling beats that brought a special kind of magic to the stage. The lack of dialogue makes for a very expressive, and physically intense show that I could not take my eyes off of!...

How Do I Hold It is ultimately about the journey of healing. Tabatha tells her story clearly and with intent. I felt as though I was with her through the experience, and it was interesting to watch her become more empowered at the end of the performance....

When I went in to A Star is Aborted I had no idea what I was getting myself into. What awaited me on the other side of the stage was the most wonderfully foul burlesque drag/musical review I have ever seen. Maureen San Diego may have crafted something that belongs in the queer canon alongside works like John Water’s Pink Flamingos or Glee. I’m still not entirely sure what Maureen put me through but you should let her serenade you too....
