The Godmother

Powerful, sensual and funny. Melina brings Griselda to life with a complete ease with the power she wields, a vulnerability towards her son, a shrewdness for the business and sharpness towards men. She is hilariously blunt, and grievously heartbreaking. This was incredibly well written, brilliantly acted, and an absolute joy to watch. ... full review

Maybe I'll plant my stories

Lola takes us on a a journey of Malum's own version of The Never-Ending Story. It was heartfelt, moving, and incredibly witty. The sincerity and simplicity of the story was wonderful to witness. As an audience member, I was confronted with myself as Malum was confronted with herself. It was a joy to be on the journey. The two hours of this show flew by. I left the theatre feeling hopefully bittersweet.... full review

King Nigel's Nervous Breakdown

Satu is electric as King Nigel. She brings a wonderful humor and grit to the character and makes what would be a tragedy into the origin story for a humorous and spicy heroine. The music was riveting from start to finish (so much that I want the entire show on Spotify). The dancing was balanced perfectly for the songs. The narrative was riveting. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire show. ... full review

Beautiful Little Fool

The acting was truthful and captivating. The writing was witty and lighthearted, which contrasted beautifully with the ominous sounds . This was a wonderful tribute to Zelda's life, giving us not just the flapper we all know and love, but the intelligent writer and wounded woman underneath. ... full review

Tommy Cooper: I Didn't Let You Down, Did I?

mary leveridge · June 13, 2022 certified reviewer
You have got to see this show. Niek is a force to be reckoned with. The amount of humanity and love he brings to Tommy Cooper is phenomenal. I laughed. I cried. I felt that exchange of energies we trade as an audience with the actors. I left more full of empathy than when I entered. ... full review

Steps of Glory is a brilliant and intensely creative showcase of one of England's greatest poets. Anja's portrayal is raw and refreshing, touching on what it means to love, regret, grieve, and accept. A wonderful actor, a moving and well-written story, and a great show!... full review
