Cara Schell Sandefur

Cara Schell Sandefur is a Los Angeles–based actress, singer, and dancer originally from Mississippi. With a body of work spanning film, television, and stage, she has a deep love for theatre, having led productions such as Kinky Boots, Vanities, and Courage to Right a Woman’s Wrongs. This summer, she returns to the Hollywood Fringe Festival in The Art of Reassurance, following the HFF Encore Award–winning run of her two-woman show Happy Girl.

Sandefur began her training as a classically trained ballet dancer, spending her final years of high school studying pre-professionally at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She is a graduate of the LACC Theatre Academy and continues her training in Meisner technique under Don Bloomfield.
