Chard Gonzalez
Chard is a dance artist, educator and advocate. He received his BFA in Dance Performance at SUNY Purchase and his MA in Dance Studies at Laban Centre London. After a two-decade career as a professional dancer, he founded Chard Gonzalez Dance Theatre in New Orleans where he was inspired by the spontaneity and authenticity of the artist community. Since its founding in 2009, CGDT has performed throughout Louisiana and in Houston, San Francisco and New York City. Upon bringing the company to Los Angeles, the company continues to create provocative experiences that enrich, enliven, and entertain audiences of all ages.
