I am a writer and actress from Southern California. I trained at the Actors Studio in NYC. I have always written. From my days at UCLA as an English major, I have found that writing frees my soul to be who I truly am. I have taken many detours in life. Now I see that they were paths to where I am now. Mental health issues played a major role in thinking that a life in the arts, in the theater, was not an option for me. I have since learned how to use the tools given to me in the past 5 years, to see this different way of viewing the world as a gift. In the words of Frances McDormand, I have learned how to put a tight lid on my process when I don’t need it, and open it when it’s time. Now is the time.
