Katierose Donohue Enriquez is a Los Angeles-based actor, writer, director, and producer, originally from the Philadelphia area of South Jersey (Go Birds!)
Her solo stage show QUEEN OF FISHTOWN premiered at the Hollywood Fringe and went on to tour California, NYC, Philadelphia, and the UK; including a celebrated run at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it won the Firework Award for Best Character-Driven Solo Show. In the spring of 2024, the show enoyed a sold-out run at the Groundlings Theatre, presented by the iconic Lynne Marie Stewart (Pee-Wee’s Miss Yvonne, forever in our hearts.) The Groundlings run marked a full-circle moment, as the character first appeared in a sketch Katierose wrote over a decade earlier during her time in the Groundlings Sunday Company; where both she and director Corey Podell are alums.
Katierose produced and starred in the long-running, all-female sketch show MA’AM, directed by Colleen Smith, and her own solo sketch showcase THATWOMAN! was sherparded by SNL’s Mikey Day.
As a theater director, Katierose has been proud to helm a couple of world premieres, including Scott Golden’s Southern comedic drama HURRICANEKATE. And Katierose received a Top Honor Scenie Award for Best Direction of a Drama (Intimate Theater) from StageSceneLA for the world premiere of Gabriel Oliva’s FINALINTERVIEW (now a feature film!)
Currently, Katierose is stoked to be back co-devising and directing storyteller, singer, and songwriter Stacie Burrows in her latest Edinburgh Fringe bound show FOOLSGOLDMINE. This marks their third collaboration. Last year was multi-media project NO GOODDRUNK (5 Stars – Rhys Reviews, 4 Stars – Theatre Weekly, 4 Stars – Ed Fringe Review) The Scotsman called it one of the most thought provoking shows you should not miss at Edinburgh Fringe. A year earlier the ladies created LAUGHABLE for which The Scotsman commented Burrows is Good Company! (Four Stars – Derek Awards)
