I enjoyed "CASA FUEGO" and think it has many elements that make it special and can be expanded on in future versions of the show. I was especially impressed by the character work and tone of the show - it was very clear what the setting of this show was and how all of the characters related to each other and affected one another. Krystal is a powerhouse actress, I could see her knocking this role out of the park in so many mediums, she was fabulous. Gabriela was also great as her sister, and I to... full review

Pam is an incredible solo performer. She has such an infectious, powerful energy. Her performance was top notch. My favorite moments were her real, natural reactions and mannerisms when she was narrating or playing herself. Just an absolutely adorable human. Who could not love Pam.... full review

Loved the style, pacing, comedy, heart, characters, transitions, and all-around METAL vibe of this show. I could absolutely see this as a TV series, and would love to follow these characters for more. Christina and the cast were all hilarious and gut-wrenching, with so many moments that caught me by surprise and made me laugh, "Aw", and "fuck yeah!"... full review

Habla y te Salvas: True Stories of a No Sabo Kid from Queens & his Guayaco Dad

This show was incredible. I was absolutely blown away by Christopher's storytelling abilities, but his vulnerability is what really made this show sing. When I first heard what Christopher's show was about, I didn't know what to expect; but seeing the show come to fruition after months of preparation and anticipation for his father to join him in Hollywood totally exceeded my expectations. It's clear that though his father is a ham, he is not a professional performer. The unpredictability and ra... full review

JUST THE TIP

Jon is an absolute pro and veteran of the stage, and it shows. His writing, style, comedic timing, and total charm had us, the audience, with him before we even saw him on stage (spoiler alert: we HEARD him before we saw him ;). Jon has an incredible balance of heart, humor, and humanity in his stand-up, which immediately made me a fan. He has no problem using his platform to broach current events, and I commend him for doing so with care and comedy, while staying true to himself.... full review

Vanlyfe

Vanlyfe is an absolute triumph. A masterpiece. I was completely and utterly blown away by this show. The writing, the acting, the immersive experience of the actual, real-life van and tents they performed in, everything was so well thought-out and carefully curated. This show BURSTS with heart and the earnest message of how important it is to take care of each other. With the current state of the world, and the current state of Los Angeles and the homelessness crisis, this show is a must-see for ... full review
