This show is tremendous. It is very clear that the team has a rich understanding of the themes and symbols in the text, and they make them manifest in their staging and design, which are incredibly intricate. The play makes excellent use of contrast: Melchior's enormous physicality against Moritz's stillness, the grotesqueness of the adults in the first two acts, against their delicate, intimate, and connected scenes in the third act, Moritz's fast and unwavering tempo against everyone else's var... full review

Four Clowns: Romeo and Juliet is a very fun ride. The actors are so clearly filled with joy to be performing this show that's it's very difficult to avoid coming with them. When these actors are on fire, they are truly on fire and the jokes don't stop rolling. Because we all know the story of Romeo and Juliet, this show is really about the comedy in between the plot points, and the best humor in the show is the stuff that comes out of the story and relationships we already know.
