Simone Tetrault

Simone Tetrault has been a writer and creator of integrity-driven performance works at the intersection of art, science and technology. Simone’s work is heavily informed by her experiences as an educator and the sense of responsibility she believes all artists have, in telling stories that make us ask difficult questions of ourselves and others. Rather than “confronting” these issues, Simone approaches the development of a piece through a profound desire to understand deeply, however difficult or personally challenging. The words we say, the things we do, and the stories we tell have immeasurable power to change our world; whether through poetry, dance, music, sound or performance, Simone’s process is deeply rooted in care for the weight of the work, those who help make it, and those who receive it. Her work has been presented at the Bendix Building (High Beams #3), AML Space, Griffith Observatory, Access Theater, THEATRELAB and FIGMENT Project NYC.
