Junk Girls

This show is a beautifully and intrinsically directed, every movement, moment, is so clear and full. The direction stands as a foundation for the performers to shine! This is the best ensemble piece I have seen at Fringe this year. I love a show where the threads of the director can be clearly seen and blended in to the performance. And this is that show. A beautiful marriage of great performance and great direction.... full review

I Have Too Many Feelings

I have too many feelings written and performed by Bethany Vee! This is absolutely without a doubt the funniest show I have ever seen! There was not a moment where I or the audience was not stitched in laughter! The show is utter genius and so relatable that I couldn’t take it anymore by the end in the best way possible, it was just too funny! Bethany reached into her mind and pulled out her humanity in a puddle of comedy and in doing so did the same to me.... full review

AFTER THE FALL

This show is a beautiful story about physical and mental resilience from a gentle man. His vulnerability surrounding his experience with a life changing accident is poignant and inspiring. I was astonished by him, his ability, and his story. We learn in the show that Johnny is a healer and his method is massage. But he is also a healer through the arts because I walked away shedding some baggage and gaining the knowledge that I too can indeed do whatever I set my mind to with faith and love.... full review

This show is the cutest most heartfelt show I have ever seen. It feels like a Disney movie, only with actual respect for the culture Azo dives us into! I 100 percent recommend this!... full review

Lies, Anger and Forgiveness

Barbara’s show is 30 minutes long, but she conveys the entire spectrum of the human condition in that expertly crafted 30 minutes. I is hands down a masterclass on acting! She is funny, she is sensitive, she is fierce, we follow her she through naivety, heart break, jadedness, joy, and everything in-between. The direction is clear and distinctly present in the piece. You can see the threads of Barbara and Debra’s collective work. This piece is clearly a creation of love between these two magnifi... full review

Caught In The Mix

This show is great, it is clean and tight. I found myself laughing and sitting on the edge of my seat as Kira, walked us through the life of a mixed person, and all the pride and shame that come with it. Kira's skill is on full display as she seamlessly transitions between characters. What's most impressive is her ability to switch between to characters and with them their emotions, back and forth, without missing a beat.... full review

Securing My Insecurities

Mandy’s play is very touching! Her bravery and deep connection to her authenticity and vulnerability is something to be celebrated. It is also very relatable, after speaking with audience after the show everyone was talking about how deeply they can relate. And that is what theatre is meant to do! I loved this show.... full review

Yes, No, Maybe So

Yes no maybe so is courageous as Heck! After an uncomfortable doctors visit, we dive in with Catherine into her childhood and awkward and sometimes scary experiences with consent, along with her inner bitch and the hilarious professor Sarah P. Outrage. The best part is that it is a musical. Being a percussionist Catherine uses her body for acoustic percussions while she entertains and it is something you can peel your eyes away from... full review

Naturally Tan

The show is wildly entertaining and a fantastic piece of solo Theatre! Tanya’s skill is something to be desired and does not break throughout the 90 minute show, very impressive! From childhood to motherhood Tanya, shows us how colorism is not just a US issue drawing relevant parallels to our own society through comedic and soul reaching performance ... full review
