Todd Macabre

A beautifully stupid and gripping meditation on queerness that I totally wasn't expecting at all. Ian is such a darling fool, they have you eating so fast out of the palm of their hand. The audience loves his every move. It's one of those shows where you are excited for every minute of it, you never know what Ian will do! His use of stage effects is so integrate into the storytelling, and his excessive use of fog is so stupid and never failed to make me laugh. Todd's world is vivid, more so, Trod... full review

I've never seen anything like this! The way Taylor moves his body is BEAUTIFUL. It was so simple, hilarious, and moving. I was obsessed with the combative furniture familiars. I loved how every movement was dance, even between dance numbers. Taylor's facial expressions *danced*. His voice *danced.* One of my favorite shows this fringe. ... full review

Hardest I've laughed during Fringe. This was peak clowning. So pure, present, stupid-- the room was completely lit up. Truly a special show. A testament to how healing the joy of a clown can be on your soul. You could not tell what was improvised and what was planned and it felt like magic. 10 out of 10. ... full review

Meat is inimitable. Beyond inventive and imaginative, Sugar Mud is completely transportive and transformative. Meat is a virtuoso when it comes to specificity, in the world were invited to and in the characters we meet, all inside the tornada. You will never see another show like this. They take beautiful care of the audience, and the games they play with us are played with so much heart and hilarity. This is easily one of the best shows Ive seen in my dang life. Meat was not just a granny, a Mor... full review

Magical, mesmerizing, simple and hysterical. Maverick is the type of performer that is so captivating and enchanting you never want to look away, you don’t even want to blink. What an immersive experience. I felt like I was transported into a dream like purgatory, grappling with the very nature of complicated love. Soleil's performance was so dropped in, so gripping and startling. I was really on the edge of my seat following the story, which was woven together with beautiful visuals and hypnotic movement. Rich and emotional, would definitely recommend!... full review

SQUIRM: A True Story

I really laughed my ass off! And cried! It was so earnest, and beautifully cartoonish, and self aware. The costumes were both hilarious and stunning and the show takes you on such a ride of Mia's personal journey with gut illness, breakups, and creativity itself. The music was all super sweet and catchy (stuck in my head right now!) and I was so surprised by all the cool choreography. Nick as the worm was an absolute riot. The show was sprinkled with clown elements that were really satisfying. A ... full review
