Sophia LaPaglia

Besides being an avid Fringe participant and eager audience member, I am also the Director of the Aratani theatre, an 880 seat historic theater in Downtown Los Angeles. I started in professional theater at the age of 8, so one could say I am a theatre artist “lifer.” I have my undergraduate in Theatre as well as Film, and my graduate training at Circle in the Square conservatory in NYC. I had a long running one-woman show for 5 years in San Francisco, and then toured the US with a one-woman show I directed for three years. I transitioned to the LA theater scene in 2019- so you can imagine how that has been! I am most passionate about Theater for Social Change Projects, but I love it all! Looking forward to connecting with hearts and minds and other theater kids! Happy Fringe!
