This show was a delight throughout with a knock out punch of an ending. An examination of our obsession with true crime and the stories we tell about female victims, the stellar acting and hilarious writing kept me on the edge of my seat in this whodunnit that asks, when we obsess over the perpetrator, do we lose the humanity of the victim in all the noise? ... full review

Holy hell, this was a phenomenally written, acted, and executed piece. I was riveted from start to finish by an absolutely captivating performance by Hailey McAfee. She took what is often a 2-dimensional villionous character in the cultural zeitgeist and made her human while still managing to never excuse her behavior. The execution was simple, yet powerful. A stripped down bearing of the soul by a storyteller still figuring out what it means to find peace and leaving the audience with the sense that it's okay not to know your ending because self-discovery is a humbling and continuous road. Kelsey Flynn is a bona-fide emo-rockstar and a hell of a storyteller. Combining her favorite song from that most formative of times (middle school) with all the wonderful, beautiful, cringe-y moments that those songs got her through, she invites the audience to revel in what it means to love music and, ultimately, yourself. Samantha Bowling has the unique ability to touch on deeply difficult and troubling topics without ever succumbing to cynicism. In fact, I always leave her shows feeling in awe of the stubbornness with which beauty, love, and light continue to exist in the world and with a renewed determination to seek them out and hold them close.
