Victoria Newman

Victoria-Elizabeth is thirteen years old and excited about her first appearance at The Fringe Festival and could not have asked for a more moving and inspiring piece to make her debut. Cameron offers a new lens to bullying and Victoria-Elizabeth says she could not have asked for a more poignant way to advocate for the cause. She says the cast has become long-term friends and she hopes the experience will be long-lived. This is Victoria-Elizabeth’s second stage production since moving back to Los Angeles, doubling up on performances and rehearsal while portraying Joetta Watson, of the Watsons go to Birmingham, 1963 at the Hudson Theatre. Before moving North, Victoria-Elizabeth performed with Star Repertory Theatre in San Diego and took on the role as Eponine in Les Miserables. She also breathed life into Drusilla, the meanest stepsister in Cinderella and performed with the Childrens Youth Conservatory in the production of Annie. Prior to her move to San Diego, Victoria performed at Northwest Children’s Theatre in The Little Mermaid as Sebastian, Rose in Annie and Charlotte in the Oregon Children’s theatre production of Charlottes Web. Victoria-Elizabeth has performed at the Wiltern, Keller and Spreckles Theater in the Moscow Russian, Oregon and San Diego City Ballet company production of the Nutcracker. This year has also been a year of transition to film. Victoria-Elizabeth has taken on starring and supporting roles in several films, including “For Gina,” a heartwarming film that is based on a true story of a young girl who dies three days after receiving her Leukemia diagnosis. Victoria-Elizabeth plans to continue her path and broaden her experience to television. In addition to acting and ballet, she plays classical piano, reads, and writes creative stories. In the future Victoria-Elizabeth aspires to attend Julliard, NYU or Yale where she wants to cultivate and continue her passion. Victoria-Elizabeth would like to thank the audience for keeping the arts alive and her parents for their support and ability to drive. https://linktr.ee/victoriactress
