Superfun musical! I once had a cat that was like this one: the most loving cat I ever had, but it scared off my housemates so much that they had to ask me to get it out of their rooms when she was in there, as she wouldn't allow them to get near her. Such a great work. Extremely impressive how the director was able to fabricate a coherent and compelling narrative about Hikmet's feelings and experiences in prison, entirely out of his poetry - and she did so without being overly sentimental. It manages to convey the value of perseverence and conviction to people even without any prior background on the subject.
