With ingenious script writing, a well constructed heartfelt message about love, loss and life accompanied with an exquisite performance from duo Ron Placone and Sara Kay Godot, Termination Fee is one of those pieces that you remember long after the shows end. Ron's writing is so poignant to today. The overlying theme of couple's struggle because of the all too relevant troubles of our current health care system, then one of the only 'logical' decisions by one of the main characters that death wou...

With a witting, clever charm and a gut-busting hysterical romp through the 'wilderness', Out There is an uproarious show from start to finish. Mark Vigeant's comedy is infectious, and he does a fantastic job inviting the audience into his livestreaming of his embark through the wilds, and each element of improv was perfectly constructed and executed. I also loved how well the ending was constructed with all of the elements throughout the specific show! So smart! All in all, I had a "bear-y" amazi...

Amazing, thought provoking, powerful and touching, Solo is a 30 minute show that I could've watched a whole series to, and beyond! The writing was sensational by Scottie Jeanette Madden, with messages that are so necessary for today's discussion about LGBT rights and truths. I loved the ferocity and liveliness of the main character Jane Weigh, wonderfully portrayed by Juliana Joel, and how she stood consistently in her heart and mission. When 'some dude named Roger' comes into play, portrayed by ...

With a magical blend of touching lyrics, sincere storytelling and a dynamite ensemble, Bless Your Heart is a musical I can't wait to see again. The songs stick with you after the first listen (360 or 180 hit right home with me), and Barri Hollander has created a captivating world of heart, hilarity and soul. I left wanting more, and I think that's the best part about this piece, because I simply can't wait to see Bless Your Heart in its entirety and the complete songbook. I absolutely LOVED what ...

Beau Mantor bears his soul in stage in his terrific and memorable one-man show Here. With the seemingly simple set pieces of stackable crates, Beau creates a gorgeous world interlaced with heartbreaking truths about his own triumphs and tribulations, and how he not only overcomes these moments in time, but is able to reflect and honor the moments as chapters in his book of life. Beau is a sensational storyteller, and utilizes the main storyline of a proposal that bounces him in between his curren...

Sidney Edwards is a dynamite of a talent on full display in this heartfelt and hilarious one-woman show Ms. Edwards.
Sidney flows through each character with ease, and there was truly never a dull moment. Sidney's performance was magnetic, vivacious, and always so joyful and bright! Each anecdote for each character felt so unique to whom she was portraying, and as an audience, you felt like you were stepping first hand into the world of Ms. Edwards and the lineage of hysterical family members th...

Brave, magical, stunningly disturbing and absolutely beautiful, Soleil Kohl had me in total awe of her incredible work in Dragonfish. Dragonfish takes you on an emotional aquatic roller-coaster, where one minute you think you know where the show is going, and then BAM, you're in a whole nother bracket of feelings. Soleil is a creative genius, and her bravery of baring her soul shown facets to her storytelling of her father that were mesmerizing and heartbreakingly compelling. One of the most memo...

Eggs is the perfect blend of heartfelt comedy meets the couple you absolutely love to love. Edward Mulryne and Sahar Yousefi are wonderfully paired and delightful to watch. I really enjoyed this piece from start to finish. Edward and Sahar had gorgeous chemistry, and the simplistic approach to their performance was my favorite. I also adored the ending....
