To Good To Be True was one of my all time favorite shows at this year's Fringe. Remarkable, original, unique, and so much more - Sugi Dakks is a talent you don't want to miss. Ell C Dellorso is a beautifully brave and bold bug coming into their own in this electric, unhinged, jaw dropping and heartfelt show The Life And Times Of A Gay Bug. With an immeasurably dysfunctional family and a trickling downward spiral that shows no signs of stopping, Family Fries is one of those shows where the burn lingers with you long after the lights go out. With a grippingly twisted script written by Pam Eberhardt, each character had a purpose and a place, and each moment in time that the characters shared together as a family is a true testament to a well orchestrated family drama. Alex Walker is a comedy mastermind, and Come. See. Saw. is an uproarious good time filled with Jigsaw's quirky redemption ark that should be Blumhouse's next feature of the franchise. With ingenious script writing, a well constructed heartfelt message about love, loss and life accompanied with an exquisite performance from duo Ron Placone and Sara Kay Godot, Termination Fee is one of those pieces that you remember long after the shows end. With a witting, clever charm and a gut-busting hysterical romp through the 'wilderness', Out There is an uproarious show from start to finish. Mark Vigeant's comedy is infectious, and he does a fantastic job inviting the audience into his livestreaming of his embark through the wilds, and each element of improv was perfectly constructed and executed. Ghost Train is one of those pieces that stays with you long after the train has departed. Incredible work from this stellar ensemble. The dialog is bold, powerful, thought provoking, inspiring and heartfelt, with a haunting message of our current truths in today's current affairs. Amazing, thought provoking, powerful and touching, Solo is a 30 minute show that I could've watched a whole series to, and beyond! The writing was sensational by Scottie Jeanette Madden, with messages that are so necessary for today's discussion about LGBT rights and truths. I loved the ferocity and liveliness of the main character Jane Weigh, wonderfully portrayed by Juliana Joel, and how she stood consistently in her heart and mission.
