Clever, fun, and packed with laughs, this show took us on an interactive wilderness adventure with Larry, an ill-equipped aspiring YouTuber determined to find viral fame while hunting in the Alaskan wilderness. No matter how many things went hilariously wrong, Larry never lost his optimism. The show is full of visual gags, physical comedy, and unexpected audience participation, making us feel like we were part of it. Feel-good vibes were had by all at Disco Therapy! Liza had the entire audience in the palm of her hand, sharing stories of personal trauma, growth, and resilience while always finding her way back to hope, joy, and connection. This one woman show is so well developed that it was like I watched a full cast of characters on stage, not just one actor. Mimi Collins is expert in bringing these other lives to life, interacting and fully realizing her relationships with each. It is about infidelity, male dominance and maneuvering through senseless attachment and an impossible marriage. Bailey and Jess give delightful performances in this silly yet heartfelt revival of a play that transports us back to a more innocent time: the 1990s. Going in, and simply knowing the logline of the show, I wasnt sure how you could sustain an entire narrative based on such a goofy premise, but their chemistry drives everything, keeping it engaging and fun the entire time. ... full review
