Description
The Unleashed Award is given to the ensemble production who unleashes their production with a strong focus on telling the story. We are looking for shows that combine strong acting with creative production elements to drive their story. Whether it’s a new take on an old work or a brand new play debuting at Fringe, we’re excited to see how you combine the pieces to tell the story.
Qualifications
Must be a production with 2 or more cast members
Show length must be at least 30 minutes
Production must provide up to 3 comp tickets for panel judges

Shows will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. We will make every attempt to see all shows that submit and guarantee we will see a minimum of 40 shows. (Most years we see between 60-70).
Methodology
The Unleashed Award winner is selected by a panel of judges. Each judge uses a rubric to score each production on a variety of areas including acting strength, quality of production and creative storytelling. Based on rubric scores, five shows are selected as Unleashed Award Nominees. The judging panel then casts their final vote to select our award winner.
Reward
The Unleashed Award winner receives a certificate, a dog collar and tag engraved with the name of the show, the award and the year. Winners also receive award laurels for social media purposes as well as shout outs on the Theatre Unleashed social media sites.
