What I liked

Refer to previous statement. I loved most of the music and the acting was great, I loved how visual all of the symbolism was; little kat being on stage the whole show and kat facing her inner demons literally.

What I didn't like

I think it could be shortened a bit. The first act was great with only one song I didn’t really enjoy as much as the rest. The second and third acts had some absolute BANGERS but some of the songs fall short especially when the story isn’t being shown through the music. I’m not a big musical fan but my favorite parts are when exposition dumps are replaced with story telling through music. Overall, the musical was still fantastic

My overall impression

I loved the music, the band was great and having them on stage was a great change of pace for musical theater. The story was very relatable (as a creator) but can be associated with day to day life as well.
