What I liked
The realness, the honesty, the fun, the structure and story juxtaposed with improve.
What I didn't like
Jessica, you have been through a difficult and rewarding journey, and the fruits of your labors show. There is room to make your performances even more dynamic. I would explore if perhaps your mother is not the sole determining factor that created the person you were (other people, cultural influences etc.). Maybe all this goes beyond your relationship with her. Also, I would start asking yourself who you are without the trauma.
Megan, your strength is characterization and embodying them with character adjustments. I would explore more ways to break open your personal stories and use them in the work. This is what we work on at Krater Studios.
My overall impression
Jessica and Megan get real as they jump between scripted and unscripted, character and self, truly unmasking themselves in an original and inspirational way, providing a powerfully relatable experience for many.
