An intense and imaginative adaptation of Ibsen's masterpiece. Superb performances by all the actors. A powerful meditation on the nature of love, sex and power.... full review

It is not easy to take an older play and put it in a contemporary setting and costume and have it work but this show did just that! Kudos!... full review

This is such a lovely, dark, thoughtful production. The entire cast works so well together and the pace is flawless. Meg Cashel is an amazing Hedda that will keep you snarkily giggling as well cringe from time to time. It's hard to believe this was written over 100 years ago. It still feels so appropriate. Go see it!... full review

Definitely a very theatrical play. I did not know it was a classic work until I got home and read more about it. Great job to everyone involved!... full review

This production is electric. Ibsen's 19th century ideas are injected with fresh urgency through the combined skills of the cast and creative team. Meg Cashel as Hedda in particular perfectly toes the line of poisonous and seductive, anchoring the rest of the cast in a darkly funny downward spiral. The luminous set reinforces the themes of isolation and is extra impressive considering the quick in-and-out nature of Hollywood Fringe. Would recommend to those both familiar and unfamiliar with Ibsen!... full review

wow! Now THAT'S TheAyTer! What a show! Everything about it was brilliant. Meg's portrayal of Hedda was so brilliant -- a character I hated to love and loved to hate. The casting in general was brilliant. If I hadn't known this was a legit classic and published play, I'd think that this ensemble wrote this show for themselves. Those 90 minutes flew by and I was shook when the play ended -- I wanted more! It's hard to say that there was a standout performance cause each one of the actors DE-LI-VERED. I wanted to say that "there were so many great moments" but literally every moment was great, so I guess it was just a great great show.... full review
