What I liked
Avital is a killer comic whose humor cuts deep. She manages to weave empathy and sorrow in a dark comedy show without it ever feeling pushed or saccharine.
What I didn't like
The show flew by. I almost wish it were a tad longer so more of the idea could be fleshed out!
My overall impression
Avital’s show was funny, smart and deeply honest. It’s weird to say I enjoyed this show, due to the subject matter, but I did! It made me laugh and cry and think. A thought provoking and deeply touching hour that breathes new insight into familiar (and unfamiliar!) concepts like religion, sex, and mental health.
