My overall impression

Avital is an absolute pleasure to watch. This show is beautiful, honest, and hilarious. She’s darkly funny and open and true as she shares stories of her complicated past and the death of her biological mother who never left a note. It’s a one of a kind display of raw vulnerability as Avital dares the audience to join her in crafting her own suicide note. Her writing is sharp and her delivery is delightful. I’m blown away by how she can make this stuff funny, and very jealous of her well-crafted jokes and poignant observations. I can’t wait to see what she does with this show as she takes it to the Edinburgh Fringe fest this year. Go see this show!
