What I liked

I loved more than can be adequately stated, including:
Elena’s use of the entire stage with simple set design, the physicality of each movement, her full bodied adaptation to each character, the simplicity of a singular character within each scene, the construction of a convincing dystopian world, the pauses…the pauses…the pauses that allow the moment to settle in for the entire audience. So much.

More from Elena, please. This is true artistry.

What I didn't like

Test out visibility of the screen from various seats in the audience. It was hard to see some of what was happening on the screen when the set piece moved to front and center….not super essential since the screen was supportive, but might be a way to position for wider viewing experience.

My overall impression

Pure Artistry. Captivating. Transporting.

Elena’s subtle and convincing acting brought to life the entire world she is portraying, and each new scene expanded the view into that complex world. The depth of meaning within very simple scenes is mind-boggling and thought-provoking. Elena embodies her solo performance so fully that the singular characters she portrays within each sparsely set scene, comes vividly to life. Her use of the large screen with simple visual and sound cues added to the immersive experience.
