What I liked
Chelsea Lang and Adin Rudd are fantastic as the struggling couple, effortlessly balancing comedy and vulnerability. They can see their relationship is coming to an end even if they refuse to admit it. Jayme Mantos and James Butler are also delightfully bizarre as their animatronic counterparts. And Joy Bhowmick gets some great comedic moments as everyone from a Greek chorus ride operator to a server stuck on rewind. The creativity with the aesthetic and functionality of the ride vehicle is also well executed and super fun!

My overall impression
When your ride breaks down, do you choose to stay on or get off? Mr. Toad’s got nothing on this wild ride which tackles the dissolution of a relationship without giving us any easy answers. Inventive staging, offbeat animatronic comedy, and the slow, painful realizations of our main couple make “Stuck” a must-see at Hollywood Fringe! Not to mention an ending that hits you right in the gut.
