What I liked
I really enjoyed the ways the lightening, sound effects, and props were incorporated into this production—in normal yet unique ways. The energy and interactions between Miles and Blake were so riveting to experience. I love the engagement between Miles and the audience—it felt so natural and gave us the feeling of being including the entire way through. I mean, it was kind of unusual for a stage manager/lighting technician/sound technician to engage with the audience as much as he did, but it was pretty cool. The fact that it was only 30 minutes blows my mind. I wondered how that would work before attending, and totally see how it did!
What I didn't like
Blake…if you’re not already kissing the ground Miles walks on, I’d say to start doing so. He definitely stepped in to save you multiple times. Miles truly exemplified the energy of “the show must go on.”
My overall impression
Bravo for such a creative, hilarious, engaging performance. I don’t know what was funnier: the many moments that elicited the audience laughter or the audience laughter itself.
