Bad with money. Great with a (spray) gun. A one woman show about a compulsive shopper who freed herself from debt, marriage, shame, one spray tan at a time. I grew up in a home where material things equaled love, and I began to emulate those same habits as an adult. This contributed to a dysfunctional marriage, divorce, and debt, all before I was 30. I was working as an actor, but with jobs drying up and debt collectors knocking at my door, I took a job…as a spray tanner. Spray tanning is one of Hollywood’s best kept secrets and has introduced me to a plethora of characters. I do impressions, so I take you on a wild ride of some of the clients I’ve met, and the bizarre and hysterical world of spray tanning. This is an upbeat and fun show that deals with some serious subjects. People should know they are going to a comedy show being performed by a comedian sharing her story in an honest and vulnerable way. People are often moved to tears but this show is not a melodrama, it’s a celebration of someone who was struggling but is now Doing Alright!
