This R&J adaptation was incredible! The drama of this romantic tragedy has been both preserved and yet brought to life for today's audiences in this edgy production. Stunningly beautiful Juliet, masterfully played by Scarlett Dyer, was well positioned opposite the conflicted Romeo, Johnny Briseno. I'd see it again and again...... full review

A very well-done production of a modernized, music festival version of Romeo and Juliet whose actors and actresses felt, understood and embodied the original Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet themselves felt incredibly sincere and Mercutio was, in a word, Gender.... full review

This modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet is a lot of fun. They keep true to the original story, but cut out the excess that is not necessarily needed. Putting it in a modern setting helps with understanding the play, even with the outdated language. Very reminiscent of Baz Lurhmann’s adaptation while still managing to be an original take on the material. All in all, very well done.... full review

This is such a wonderful, fun adaptation of Shakespeare's classic! Reminiscent of Baz Luhrmann's adaptation for screen, this modern retelling will have you captivated for the entire performance. The actors delivery is excellent, this is a very talented group. The first act had me in stitches, the second moved to tears. Bravo! ... full review

What a wonderful adaptation of such a beloved story. I loved the subtle Coachella vibes which made it modern enough that even the most adverse Shakespeare audience members can follow along and understand the story. The entire cast is superb. From Romeo and Juliet to the Nurse to the Prologue on the drums setting the tone the minute you walk in the theatre. Truly loved they entire show. Great work!... full review

What a fun idea for Romeo and Juliet! The music in the transitions really did remind me of Coachella, and the pacing of the play was fantastic. For a play that's produced pretty frequently, I don't think I've seen a Romeo and Juliet like this! ... full review
