The performances were so grounded in reality and dare I say “modern.” The lighting and staging was very creative!
What I didn't like
There was a moment where the music cue was so loud I had trouble hearing the actors. It wasn’t the party scene where they’re yelling, it was a different scene. One where the music was meant to be more scoring I believe, but I had trouble hearing the actor’s words.
My overall impression
A passionate staging or R&J! Such a powerful reminder of the youth and vitality at the center of this play.
