It’s a really simple story told simply, to incredible effect. It doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is, and that honesty and quality of performance really makes it one of the best gut punches I’ve experienced in a good long time. This may be one of my favorite shows of Fringe all time. Incredibly effective and affecting.
What I didn't like
Don’t change a goddamned thing. Maybe do a full run? You don’t even need a set or designers; as was during fringe is absolutely perfect.
My overall impression
I don’t want to say much because this really is one of those shows that the less you know about it the better the experience you’re going to have. And this is a show you really should see. It’s the perfect storm of incredible writing and direction with really fantastic acting. I saw this too late to promote it for the festival, but if it does extend (AND IT SHOULD) it really is a can’t miss.
