For a show that they warn you is dramatic and intense, they really had the audience laughing ALOT at the top of the show which is incredibly needed. It’s also very insightful dealing with the massive division that’s occurred in our country. While you would expect a theatre piece to take the “liberal” side usually, it really throws out perspectives, experiences and emotions that humanize the “other” side that you wouldn’t typically find yourself on. This show really makes you reflect on your own beliefs and opinions that you hold for other groups of people.
Writing great. Acting excellent. Really clipped along and I didn’t feel like I was in there for long at all.
What I didn't like
The run time is a liiiiiittle bit longer than listed (more like 50-55ish minutes) which isn’t THAT much but just plan accordingly if you’ve booked yourself tight with other shows.
My overall impression
A timely show that really pops the liberal bubble we’ve all been swimming in for 7 years.
