The story is fucked up---visceral, gag-inducing, and very sad---But it’s also laugh-out-loud HILARIOUS. It reminds me of Martin McDonagh and Trainspotting, so if you like that sort of thing you will LOVE this. I have never really seen a one person show that has felt so personal, detailed, complicated and specific. Hailey is an absolute powerhouse and delivers gut wrenching emotion while also maintaining a true sense of charisma and watchability. Extremely well written and very honest. Right from the get go it's hard not to be captivated by Hailey's character Effie. Hailey is on fire in this show as she takes us through Effie's life, crazy lifestyle, and the bizarre characters in her life. We follow Effie as she moves through her life over the course of a couple days leading to an extremely heartfelt and brutal ending. The pacing is fast and in your face as Hailey brilliantly navigates the space, alternating between talking to the audience and interacting with the people in her story.... full review
