My favorite part was the “Do you want to know how I lost my…?” bit. Every new limb was more ridiculous and I thought the ending line wrapped it up perfectly. Also “baby guns”.

My overall impression
Dillis was a wild ride, a commentary on masculinity (and also nothing at all), supremely ridiculous, and I loved every minute. Brianna is an incredibly skilled clown with an acute sense of the audience. She deftly builds and breaks tension, and invites you to play with her, all while maintaining a slight air of danger. This was expressed beautifully in the performance I saw— in which a spider unexpectedly descended from the ceiling, and was promptly killed by Dillis (and doubly so with Dillis’ invisible gun) in one triumphant moment. This show may be a work in progress, but the character feels incredibly well-developed.
