What I liked

I liked the use of time travel for both levity and to carry us with you to meet the real history so few of us know.

I loved your casual presence, as you so nonchalantly went about the business of telling us your story. It felt like we were with you in your living room, and it didn’t matter how many of us were in the room with you. You made it feel like it was so intimate. Great presence.

Your story is compelling and important. It’s courageous of you to share it so publicly, and there are many who need to hear it. Wishing great success to you.

What I didn't like

Overall it worked so well. I’m curious to see how you continue to revise and refine as you continue to perform. I’d love to see this again when you come back from Edinburgh, because it will clearly just keep getting better.

Great starting place (I saw opening night), and onward and upward from here! Hurrah!

My overall impression

With apparently casual confidence, Laser somehow walks the line of hard truths, honest vulnerability and hilarity while telling the story of transitioning into his manhood. His ability to hold the audience and the stage is clearly a well-honed gift. His songs reveal added dimensions to the tell-tale story that leads us through his journey of discovery and self-acceptance, woven with a historical journey through time, while advocating from the present moment.
