What I liked

The prop work was careful and considered and delightful, the characterization of everyone’s least favorite fallen transphobe author was both incisive and in its way, compassionate. The songs are sweet and catchy and Laser’s recounting of their time traveling trans experience is relatable and engaging.

What I didn't like

I wish ppl still sold CDs on the way out but that’s maybe beyond even Laser’s time flux powers.

My overall impression

It’s such a delight to see someone sure of themselves and confident in their considerable abilities take time to play and connect with an audience. Laser takes us through a rocket powered (well tardis powered) survey of some historical trans figures en route to knowing and appreciating his own trans self, with fun projections and heartwarming songs. The message of “labels are only to help us connect with people” takes the “get it right!!!!” pressure off for viewers still juggling various ways of seeing themselves.
