What I liked
The acting is great with each actress getting her moment to shine. They take what is essentially a simple premise and build the mystery throughout. At its heart, it’s a female buddy story akin to “Thelma and Louise” though in this case, we don’t know whodunit.
What I didn't like
I don’t see any improvement for this format and venue, but the seed is certainly there for expanding this into a longer and deeper version. I certainly hope they do.
My overall impression
The girls do well together and have found a way to present this mystery with minimal effects and frills. Who’s telling the truth? We’re kept engaged throughout as we try to figure out who is telling the truth and who is hiding something.
