What I liked

The idea of a soloist trying to fit into an intrinsically collaborative chamber group makes for an interesting clash of cultures.

What I didn't like

The play would benefit from a clearer sense of central necessity or drive. There’s not much pushing the story forward; the glimpses of the individual players’ lives feel like digressions that don’t connect to a larger picture.

My overall impression

The show has an intriguing premise but the writing doesn’t live up to the story’s potential.
