What I liked

Levy Lee’s writing, acting, and the choice of stories and poetry!

What I didn't like

It should be filmed so that more could witness this important journey!

My overall impression

Levy Lee Simon’s solo show “Odyssey, Race And Racism” was an extraordinary afternoon in the theatre. He welcomed us, his audience, and then began his tale, which revealed his own journey, as well as his beloved ancestors. I was riveted by the honesty of this brilliant storyteller, extraordinary poet and skillful actor. This is just the beginning for this incredible show, because it deserves a MUCH wider audience. It is important, it is hopeful, it is devastating, it is truth, of where we are now, where we’ve been, and where we can hope to go. So grateful that I got to see it, and will go back definitely in it’s next incarnation!
