A female Jeff Dunham meets ’Who’s Line is it Anyway?’
Internationally awarded ventriloquist Christine Barger combines traditional ventriloquism with improv comedy games in her incredibly interactive show.
Christine is a nationally touring LA based entertainer. Her film and TV credits include American Pie: Beta House, Made of Honor, Dexter, Ghost Whisperer, iCarly and more. She has been seen as a comic ventriloquist on USA’s Character Road Trip, The Tom Joyner Show, Last Call with Carson Daly and many live venues.
Christine was born and raised in Indiana and began performing ventriloquism at the age of 7. She discovered her natural gift as a result of losing her baby brother at an early age. Making her imaginary friends talk was her way of coping. She then began helping others through her grief camp performances and sharing her story. Christine took this tragedy and transformed it into her passion of helping others by making them smile.
She also began teaching improv comedy as a way to help others improve their self-esteem, public speaking and teamwork skills.
As a result of her work with improv, Christine has discovered a new way of bringing laughter to her audiences. She has combined two of the things she not only loves, but is very skilled at: Ventriloquism & Improv Comedy creating “Ventrilo-prov”.
