What I liked
Believable ensemble cast moves the monolithic piece along at a great clip. One particular surprise had me grateful my amygdala went cowardly lion or I’d be writing an apology letter instead of a review. But it’s the design concept that steals the show: lights, sound, props, set, and costumes become a visceral character — so the packaging of this advertising play is what ultimately sells.
What I didn't like
While the piece is (regrettably) timely, it does little to add to the conversation. I dare say I walked out more apathetic then when I walked in, which might say more about me than the piece. But that’s art, baby.
My overall impression
If you want a fringe show with a high production value, look no further. This piece plays as slick as the corporate-capitalists it centers around.
