What I liked

Impressive, snappy dialogue intricately woven between very distinct characters, each with fatal flaws we get to see and care about in a short amount of time. The bold physicality of many scenes, the diving into the heartbreaking and grotesque. I also particularly loved the coke’d out boss—he was hilarious. Also the set was really well-crafted while maintaining the minimalist demands of Fringe. It really set the scene so well and pulled my straight into the glamorous, superficial world of advertising.

What I didn't like

Without giving too much away—— there’s a character who appears at the end. And for their first few minutes on stage, I thought their intentions were more…sinister…and I became worried. So I guess, I wish this character’s purpose was exhibited more clearly early on.

My overall impression

A funny, sharp, and relevant skewering of American gun politics and the compartmentalization capitalism requires of us. I bursted out laughing several times, and was also made to sit with a gnawing in my gut, as I wondered what I would do in these characters’ situation. A testament to the empathic writing and acting!
