What I liked

Loved the fast pace! There wasn’t a dull moment in the dialogue. The writing provided layered and tense relationships between each character, and the director and actors took that and gave it all momentum, energy and vulnerability. They brought it to life in a way that felt extremely real.

The costumes and set were great – I felt like I was in a high-end office space where everyone is at the top of their game.

I liked the drop-ins by their boss, Trent. He provided a lot of great moments of levity. And owned the space with his physicalizations.

Jo had a lot of innocent and funny moments. It’s easy to identify with her because she sees the bad in what this office is perpetrating. I especially liked the bit with Thai Food Guy that stopped everything and gave us an outside perspective of things.

Yasmin also drew a lot of laughs, and the break down she had while eating egg rolls really made you feel for her.

Ximena kept it real with the other characters I felt. Especially from a job standpoint. She carried herself with this “I’m a badass” confidence and challenged the others personally and professionally. She was unapologetic about her ambition.

Felicity had a great arc in being the boss and coming from this place of power and advocating for guns to then having gun violence hit so close to home. Very interesting to watch.

What I didn't like

Hmmmm, I don’t know. I got nothing. Maybe the fight could have gone on longer. Felicity and Ximena could have stood up and started boxing. Then Jo gets involved. Then the rest of the cast joins in a BATTLE ROYALE.

My overall impression

Witty and energetic. I felt enlightened and thoroughly entertained.
