What I liked
I loved witnessing Alex’s expert crowd working skills at play. Her ability to navigate the nuances that come with different audiences is impressive. Alex has a keen understanding of comedic timing, when to give moments breath, and how to command a room. The script is elevated, witty, and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster brilliantly. My heart hurt and laughed the entire time, and I did not want the hour to end. I’d happily have margaritas with Cynthia any day.
What I didn't like
If we could stop time and live in Cynthia’s world even longer I’d be the happiest guest around.
My overall impression
Alex Kern delivers a performance that is fearless, charming, and heartbreaking. A must-see solo performance that will keep you laughing and on your toes the entire time.
