What I liked

The journey – that’s intentionally vague so you see the show but WHAT A JOURNEY. The raw vulnerability, the connection with the audience, the seeming fearlessness mixed with anxiety that comes with throwing a party. Also I loved the absurd props! I got to drink a margarita from a barbie doll through the magic of theater and Alex’s creative mind.

My overall impression

I loved this show so much. An excellent performance that blends clown and improvisation and character and heart and a little look at ideas held about what makes a “good” hostess. If I had the chance I’d see it again, because I know that each show is different with how much Alex plays with the audience.
