Alex’s ability to keep in mind the games she has set up and the participants. It’s improv at its finest, made to mimic an actual dinner party, only with dozens of guests she doesn’t know.
She keeps the audience off guard and laughing, all the while she is setting up the theme and truly memorable climax.
What I didn't like
Her ability to eat a cantaloupe. ;)
My overall impression
Alex is a gifted performer who gets into character and has no reservations about what she does. It’s unique, odd, hilarious, and possesses a deep melancholy at its core. This show (among the hundreds at Fringe) is one you will remember.
