The narrative is balanced and feels very organic as it unfolds due to such wonderful performances.
The laughs are continuous with genuine heart at their base.
Keranen’s comedic mastery shines, offering depth and nuance between the hilarity.

My overall impression
Masterful writing coupled with the crackerjack timing of Carrie Keranen and Peter Fluet tells you everything you need to know about the two lead characters right away. Immersion is instantaneous.
Outlandish laughs have an undercurrent of the most genuine emotion, and these two seemingly larger than life characters end up being so very relatable in the most real ways.
The story’s twists and turns are found contextually and delivered so superbly by a pitch perfect cast.
