I loved how I felt like I was in her teenage bedroom WITH her. Getting to know a friend who you care about but don’t know enough about. After the show, I wanted to know more.
What I didn't like
Other than a couple moments where speech sped up and some words were lost – This piece is so good. She is so good. If you love the 90s, have a sense of humor and felt like the ugly duckling growing up – this is the piece for you!
My overall impression
Chris has this special kind of comedic timing where you wonder why she isn’t a sitcom star yet. This piece is not only hilarious, nostalgic and relatable… but it’s also pretty heartbreaking at times. She holds you in the palm of her hand from her first words which happen on an abrupt LIGHTS UP, informing you that – oh this is gonna be great. FIVESTARS.
